A BC "Declined - Card Brand Not Supported" code means that a particular card brand is either not supported or not configured on your account .
PayJunction supports the following card brands: Visa, American Express, MasterCard, Discover, Diners Club, and JCB. If you are receiving the BC decline on a card brand supported by PayJunction and want to check if that brand is active on your account, log in to the Virtual Terminal and navigate to:
- MORE -> ACCOUNT -> {Name of the account in question}
There you will see the list of Card Brands you are set up to accept. If you wish to add a brand such as AMEX, please contact PayJunction Support.
If PayJunction is not your Merchant Services Provider (MSP), you need to contact your MSP to add any missing card brand. Once it's added to your merchant services account, provide PayJunction with your new VAR Sheet.
