Why do I get a "Wrong Host Error" when I try and login?

PayJunction maintains multiple data centers to ensure maximum uptime for our clients. Occasionally when performing routine maintenance, PayJunction must take a data center offline. You may receive the following error message by logging into a data center at the same time PayJunction begins routine maintenance:

“Wrong Host Error: The servers you are trying to connect to are currently under maintenance. Please try back in a few minutes.”

This error is extremely rare.

PayJunction’s systems have a number of features to automatically avoid and correct this error for you. However, if this error message persists, please try the following items to troubleshoot the problem.

  1. Guide your web browser directly back to www.PayJunction.com
  2. Click the Login button.
  3. Login again.

If the problem still persists:

  1. Close all of your open web browser windows.
  2. Reopen and guide your web browser directly back to www.PayJunction.com
  3. Click the Login button.
  4. Login again.

If the problem still persists:

  1. Reboot your computer.
  2. Open and guide your web browser directly back to www.PayJunction.com
  3. Click the Login button.
  4. Login again.

At this point, if the problem still persists, it may be indicative of a larger issue. Please contact a PayJunction Level 2 Support Representative only after attempting all of the above proposed solutions. Please note, that all support representatives will try the above-mentioned solutions prior to escalating your call to a Level 2 Support Representative.
