In order to test the API connection, a test transaction will need to be processed. Once the test transaction is processed, login to your PayJunction account and verify that the transaction appears in the account. To do this, simply follow the steps listed below.
- Go to the payment page for the software that you are using. (Example: Shopping Cart, P.O.S., iPay Mobile, etc.)
Process a payment with the following information:
Account Number 4444333322221111 Expiration Date 01/20 CVV 999 Street Address 8320 Zip Code 85284
- Login to your PayJunction account by clicking the Login button in the top right corner of the web page at www.payjunction.com
- On the main menu, go to Recent.
- If the transaction was successfully processed, it will appear as Declined on the list of Recent Transactions. Simply verify that you do see the declined test transaction.
If you use the test information that is provided above, the transaction will be declined. This is the expected result because we are using a test credit card on a live account.
If you need to see an approved transaction, then you can use your own, live credit card. Be aware, if you use a real card, it will be charged.
