Just as personal credit cards have spending limits, merchant accounts have processing limits. High ticket and monthly limits are instated on all merchant accounts by all providers to mitigate risk. However, most other providers do not tell the merchant that these limits are in place and will wait for a merchant to exceed these limits thereby charging them a higher fee and/or holding their funds.
PayJunction's risk department informs all new customers of these limits as well as instructions to increase them. Our system notifies you when you approach your limit. PayJunction does not believe in holding funds and we will take all possible steps to avoid these situations so that your business can continue to accept payments from your clients.
PayJunction also understands that there are times when a spike in monthly volume or transaction size can occur. Our risk team can work with you to allow one time exceptions and/or permanent increases for larger than normal processing.
