How Do I Create a Payment Link?

Instructions

Here's a quick way to send a payment link to your customers via email. To create a payment link:

  1. Highlight and copy the payment link template provided below.
  2. Paste the link into a text file on your computer.
  3. Edit the link using the Required Edits Instructions below.

Microsoft Word is not recommended when editing a payment link (as it has a tendency to insert special characters).

PayJunction recommends that you use a general text editor like Notepad to create a payment link.

Payment Link Template

The field names in all capitals letters are meant to be replaced with the actual values you would like your payment link to contain:

Required Edits Instructions

Next, edit the default payment link template to customize your link:

  1. Replace STORE_ID with your PayJunction Shop Name.
    1. To find your Shop Name, click More > Hosted Payments
    2. Your Store Name is listed under the "Name" column on the top left of the page.

Store Names are case sensitive. Therefore if your ID is 'abcdefg', using 'ABCDEFG' will give you an error message stating that The QuickShop store you tried to access is invalid.

  2. Replace PRICE with the dollar amount of the payment (i.e. 10.00). Do not include a dollar sign ($).
  3. Replace DESCRIPTION with the description of what the customer is paying for. If you have multiple words in your description (i.e. This is your description), you will need to put a plus sign (+) in between each word (i.e. This+is+your+description).

Always test your payment link before sending it to customers.
