How to Unlock a Stuck Smart Terminal in ezyVet

When initiating a payment on a busy Smart Terminal in ezyVet, an error message will pop up to say that the Smart Terminal is currently busy processing a payment and the payment ID.

In rare cases, the Smart Terminal is not busy but is actually in a “stuck” state. Follow these steps to unlock the stuck terminal:

  1. Click on the Financial tab in the top nav bar
  2. Click on Payments in the left side bar
  3. Click the All tab and search for the payment using the ID found in the error message in step 1, then click on the payment to select it.
  4. Click on the Transactions tab:

  5. Click on the Reset Terminal button under the Actions column

  6. A verification pop-up will be displayed. Confirm that the Smart Terminal is idle and click Yes to unlock.

  7. If the transaction was processed successfully by PayJuntion but the transaction status is "Initiated" in ezyVet, follow this guide to update the transaction status
