When initiating a payment on a busy Smart Terminal in ezyVet, an error message will pop up to say that the Smart Terminal is currently busy processing a payment and the payment ID.
In rare cases, the Smart Terminal is not busy but is actually in a “stuck” state. Follow these steps to unlock the stuck terminal:
- Click on the Financial tab in the top nav bar
- Click on Payments in the left side bar
- Click the All tab and search for the payment using the ID found in the error message in step 1, then click on the payment to select it.
- Click on the Transactions tab:
- Click on the Reset Terminal button under the Actions column
- A verification pop-up will be displayed. Confirm that the Smart Terminal is idle and click Yes to unlock.
- If the transaction was processed successfully by PayJuntion but the transaction status is "Initiated" in ezyVet, follow this guide to update the transaction status.
