The PJ Admin Chrome extension is an internal tool published by PayJunction for use by PayJunction employees only. It is not intended for, or available to, merchants, customers, or the public.
What it does: The extension provides a browser side panel that lets authorized PayJunction employees view and open Zendesk support tickets related to the merchant account currently being viewed in PayJunction's internal administration console.
What data it accesses: When an employee uses the extension, it reads the merchant identifier displayed on PayJunction internal admin pages (payjunction.com) and retrieves related support ticket information from PayJunction's Zendesk instance. This information can include customer names, contact details, account identifiers, and transaction context, solely for support purposes.
Authentication: Each employee signs in to PayJunction's Zendesk instance with their own account using OAuth. The resulting access tokens are stored locally in the employee's browser and are never transmitted to anyone other than Zendesk. The extension contains no embedded credentials.
Where data goes: Data is exchanged only between the employee's browser, PayJunction's internal systems, and PayJunction's own Zendesk instance. The extension does not sell data, transfer it to third parties beyond our contracted support platform (Zendesk), use it for advertising or analytics, or use it for creditworthiness or lending purposes.
Storage: The extension stores user preferences (such as display theme), the current merchant identifier, and the employee's own Zendesk OAuth tokens locally in the browser. Ticket data resides in Zendesk per PayJunction's data-retention practices.
